Auguste Rodin: Life Cast in Bronze is an aesthetic exploration of twelve of the most prominent works in bronze by French sculptor Auguste Rodin. Gordon Watkinson rounds up in photographic sequences each of the sculptures and captures with his camera the unique fluidity of the forms as well as the compelling expressions of Rodin’s subjects. Each of the series of images is a passionate homage to the powerful mastery of the French artist and his unique ability to instill life into his works.
Underlying Rodin’s modernity the project will be accompanied by strong 21st century graphics designed in close collaboration with the photographer.
